Anuj Dhirde
I build serverless applications on AWS and coordinate enterprise network migrations across M&A sites. Two years of hands-on infrastructure work at Cognizant, now focused on well-architected, automated cloud systems.
AWS Solutions Architect – Associate VerifiedAbout
Where I come from and where I’m heading.
I’m a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant, working as a network engineer on IT Merger & Acquisition integration. My day-to-day is gathering requirements, planning connectivity solutions, and coordinating the migration of acquired sites into the enterprise network with implementation, security, and architecture teams.
Alongside that, I earned my AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification and build hands-on AWS projects — a serverless event platform and a three-tier, highly available web application. My networking background gives me a practical view of how cloud systems connect and stay secure, and I’m now moving fully toward cloud and systems engineering, with automation and well-architected design at the centre.

Projects
Real builds, with the code to back them.
EventHub — Serverless Event Platform
A fully serverless platform where users browse events, subscribe for email alerts, and post new events through an API-driven workflow — with no servers to manage.
- Two independent Python Lambda functions behind API Gateway REST endpoints (POST/GET).
- S3 hosts the static frontend and stores event data; SNS sends subscriber email notifications.
- Least-privilege IAM roles and CORS secure every browser-to-service call.
- CloudWatch logs used for end-to-end troubleshooting; documented with a diagram and demo video.
3-Tier Highly Available Web App
A three-tier e-commerce web app on AWS, built for high availability with load-balanced compute across two Availability Zones and a private database tier.
- Ran a Python/Flask app on 2 EC2 instances in private subnets across two AZs, behind an Application Load Balancer.
- Backed it with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL) in an isolated DB tier inside a custom VPC with public/private subnets and route tables.
- Secured with HTTPS via ACM, custom DNS via Route 53, and private EC2-to-S3 access through a VPC endpoint using an IAM role.
Experience
Two years across networking, migration, and automation.
Programmer Analyst
Sep 2024 – Present- Built a Python/Bash automation tool for connectivity validation, cutting manual effort ~70% (โ53→15 min per cycle) — earned a Cognizant Recognition Award.
- Coordinated integration of 10+ M&A sites into the enterprise network with implementation, security, and architecture teams.
- Gathered LAN/SSID requirements and drove Cisco/Meraki network migrations into the Cognizant environment.
- Planned secure remote-access migrations using RA VPN and Zscaler.
CDP Network Intern
Jun 2024 – Aug 2024- Completed CCNA-track labs: BGP, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching, WLC, IOS upgrades, ACLs, L2/L3.
Full Stack Web Developer Intern
Aug 2023 – Feb 2024- Built a full-stack client application with Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and SQL; resolved production defects.
Certification & Education
